Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled at Ledaig in 2008 and matured exclusively in Hogshead 700116 for 14 years.

Only 247 70CL bottles worldwide. Bottled at a cask strength of 53.6% VOL.

Each bottle is individually hand numbered and this expression is bottled without chill filtration or colourants.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A rich waft of burnt tyres and engine oil reach out of the glass and grab your attention, as if joy riders left a burning car by the side of the road. However, upon closer inspection, there is a sweetness that seems to bring some levity to the dram.

Palate: Thick peat engulfs your tongue, overriding your sensory system and seemingly staining your mouth. The peat turns more smokey on the palate, as if bonfire embers are fighting sea spray that’s dampening the fire out. This gives way to sweet vanilla and salted caramel fudge.

Finish: A medium length finish with softening sweet peat balanced with a beautiful salinity.
