Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled at Bruichladdich in 2012 and matured exclusively in a MRC Barrique 2257 for 9 years.

Only 280 70CL bottles worldwide. Bottled at a cask strength of 63.9% VOL.

Each bottle is individually hand numbered and this expression is bottled without chill filtration or colourants.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich, round and damp. Are we sure this is a Laddie?

Palate: Summer berries appear for only a brief moment before they are swallowed by a tart dryness. Flavours reminiscent of a dunnage warehouse take over and are met with pure cacao, maraschino cherries and soot.

Finish: A finish that is increasingly dry and moreish with sweet berries reappearing for a grand finale.
