Summerton Club Bespoke Bottling
Although we are known for bottling some incredible single malts, we also love collaborating with other brands on bottling projects.
In 2019 we became friends with Dan Humphry from the Summerton Whisky Club and instantly hit it off.
Dan’s club is one of the most popular whisky subscription services on the market and they deliver a surprise bottle to your door every 2 months. With a great year behind Dan, he knew Christmas was coming up and wanted to make the seasonal release special for his community. We had already talked with Dan in past about a potential bottling, but up until then the timing had never been quite right.
After a few meetings and sample sessions with Dan he decided to go with a Glenfarclas, but with his subscription growing overnight we were tasked to find another barrel that we could blend to meet his demand. We selected a Benriach and finished the blend in five Oloroso octaves to ensure the malts were properly married and the result was something that Dan was proud to send out to his community that only they would be able to own and enjoy.
We really enjoyed this bespoke bottling with The Summerton club, so much so that we have another one on the horizon….
